Privacy Policy

Little Outings (www.findlittleoutings.com) helps families find events and things to do nearby. This policy explains what happens to information when you use the site. The short version: there are no accounts, we don't ask for your name, email or exact location, we don't use cookies or tracking, and we don't sell anything about you.

What you enter and how it's used

To run a search you type a ZIP code and can optionally choose a distance, your kids' ages (numbers only), an indoor/outdoor preference and a date range. Your browser sends these choices to our server so it can build your results. We don't ask for names or birthdays, and the ages are never linked to who you are. We don't save your searches in a database or build a profile of you.

Hosting and server logs

The site is hosted by Vercel. Like nearly every website, Vercel automatically processes basic technical information about each request, such as IP address, browser type, the page or search address requested (which includes the search choices above), date and time, and the referring page. This is used to deliver the site, keep it secure and fix problems, and is kept for a limited time under Vercel's own policies. Search results may also be cached for a short time, keyed only to the search choices, so repeat searches load faster.

Cookies, analytics and ads

Little Outings does not set cookies, does not use analytics or advertising trackers, and does not show ads today. We use Google Search Console, which gives us summary reports about how our pages appear in Google Search results; it does not add any tracking to this site. If we ever add analytics, advertising, sponsored listings, affiliate links or a newsletter, we will update this policy first and say which providers are involved and what they collect.

Content loaded from others, and outside links

Some Ticketmaster event pictures load directly from Ticketmaster's image servers, so Ticketmaster may receive your IP address and browser information when you view them and may handle that under its privacy policy. Links to Ticketmaster, Google Maps directions, venue and organizer websites take you to sites we don't control. Their own privacy policies apply once you're there, and they may use cookies.

Children

Little Outings is meant for parents and other adults planning outings. It isn't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from children. The kids' ages you can enter are numbers used only to filter results.

Selling or sharing

We don't sell or rent personal information, and we don't share it for targeted advertising.

Your choices

You can use the site without entering ages or preferences. Because we don't keep accounts or search histories, there is generally nothing for us to look up or delete. If you have a question or request, email us and we'll help where we can.

Changes

If how the site works changes, we'll update this page and the "Last updated" date before the change takes effect.
